Rent-A-Dependent
I just got done doing my taxes... or should I say, Grayson just got done doing our taxes. So, for the past, I don’t know how many years, I have been paying out money to the monetary governing body we call the IRS. In the past I have graciously conceded to this... seeing as how I was not really paying any taxes when I was receiving wages from my subcontracted labor and skillz. However, my future did hold the hope of one day being married and experiencing the joy of higher deductions and lower withdrawals from "my bank" to "the bank of the Internal Rip-you-a-new-one Service." Thus, approaching the current tax season, I had no worries or insecurities about being in a gainful state. In fact, so confident I was, that I decided (or should I say, "we" decided) in not waiting around until the 9th hour before completing our required IRS form work, but instead to punctually complete our filing. Alas, to my dismay I was outraged to see that once again I, or “We” owed money to the IRS. So it seems that I have now brought this ill fate upon my bride. For it turns out that my untaxed bonuses during the calendar ’05 have once again caused my monetary misfortune. So, it was in this state of consternation that “It” came to me. YES, it was brilliant, a genius idea! I would start a babysitting business. Not for the extra income it would provide, but because it would be the perfect laundry business. We would open in March and then close upon the completion of the year’s auditing cycle. As a babysitting agency we would indeed reap the reward from such a business, but where our real money would be made, is on the other end… for we are only a middle-man brokering agency. These children would be brokered to individuals that had falsely claimed the number or existence of their own children, when filing their taxes. Now, young married couples and empty-nesters alike can reap the benefits they have dreamed of, or once had privilege to! Rent-A-Dependant is born, and what a cash cow it will be! Join with me now in this pursuit, and hold high your badge on dependency as we defiantly “Stick it to the Man!”

Do you have to pay taxes in jail?
a brilliant idea in theory Clayton, but after actually keeping a daycare for a few hours I think you'll opt to just pay your taxes and let everyone else get their dependents the old fashioned way...
see, that's the brilliance... we never have to see the kids, we just broker them to the couples that require the dependent(s) for the day. They go pick the kids up from their real home... and PAY US!
So, let me get this straight. You'll be running a business that will net you more profit, which of course you won't take taxes out of since you don't do this now, and then at the end of the year you will owe even more money to the government. Now that's genius.
