15 Seconds of Spotlight

Well, we finally made it to the top. News Channel 7 came to our school today to highlight one of our distinctives. You know, something that makes us special. And what is that something? Well, dodgeball is the name and powdering little 7th graders is the game. Check us out either tonight(Thurs) or tomorrow night(Fri) on News Channel 7 at 11:00pm. We should make our performance then.

Funny this should come up... I just found out the the Hilton Head Rec. Dpt. has a dodgball league in the summer. I'm planning on joining up with a buddy of mine. I'll have to get back with you guys on the dates if you wanna check us out!

Man, I play everyday with these kids (yeah, I play dodgeball everyday at work, don't ask again MF'ers). Clayton, we play with those balls that Alpine used (soft foam with some velocity).

I assume the newsworthiness of dodgeball is that it's so "dangerous". The late dale earnhardt, who I am not in the habit of quoting, once said that parents who were afraid to let their kids play dodgeball "should tie kerosene rags around their kids' ankles and light them on fire so the ants won't eat their candy asses."

The news lady, while interviewing me, asked about the "dangers" of playing dodgeball and schools banning it, of which I retorted, "We're not those schools."

I enjoyed the dodgeball segment. I liked the bowtie as well. Thames looked professional as well as mansexy.

However, my favorite was the quote about the seed -- it took me back to your days of botnay.

The earnhardt quote was inspiring; it's too bad that he's not around anymore to defend it because he died doing something dangerous.
