Not Jim, and not Van, but "James Morrison" is his name.
Alright, I just ran across this guy last week on itunes... I've had my ipod since Christmas, and this guy showed up on the main screen as a free download, so without even listening, I clicked the download icon.
My Review: This brit has a little of the same styling as Amos Lee, with a bit more raspier voice and not quite as much soul. The truth is, I just pre-ordered the CD, and I've only heard a couple of his songs... and as they say: so far so good.

I just can't get behind this guy. I've sampled his whole album now and he's just too American Idol sounding. Too much glitter, not much substance. Lyrically he's about as inspired as Justin Timberlake.
Not to poo poo on your guy though Clayton, but you asked for my opinion.
No problems brother... as mentioned, I have yet to recieve his albulm and only really listened to a few songs. It was kinda an impulse purchase after hearing him on Pandora; we'll see how it plays out for me... still got my hopes.
