Welcome Back Mr. Kotter

Well I would just like to take a minute to welcome everyone back from their long slumbers. While I do not have time to research all of the words used in Genesis, I do have time to say hello before I really get cranking on this 4 day take home exam. For those of you who do not know, last semester I suffered an acute anxiety attack while taking an exam. While it was not fun at the time, it did help me get my priorities back in order. I am refreshed coming into this exam period knowing that the Lord is good and his will be done, no matter how hard I try to fight (it really is no fun having to sit in the belly of a whale). So in two (hopefully) short weeks I will be in full swing and hopefully this blog will still be alive and kicking at that point in time. And for those of you who do not already know, I will be moving to Greenville in July and my wife will be popping out a little baby in late October. And no we don't know what it is going to be, nor are we going to find out.

Good choice. Although, you probably wont know what sex your baby is for several hours because:

1. The doctors won't tell you because they assume that you've known since your 16-20 week ultrasound

2. You won't remember to look yourself.

You'll be like "Oh, Crap!" We have to name this kid and we don't even know if it's a boy or a girl! Then you ruin the child's life by naming "it" Ashley or Pat or Blake.

We didnt find out, and it was awesome. Although the doctor doesn't tell you right away but John you'll be able to see since you get to watch the baby pop out.

But if you tell me the month that conception occurred and how old Marissa was at that time, I can tell you what the sex will be.

just pick one and tell people that, you've got a 50% chance of being right. And if you're wrong, you can always say you're as surprised as everyone else...

Congrats John.
