My daughter got me the best father's day gift ever. She got me a Harmony 720 remote control. Its flippin' sweet. I just point it at my entertainment center and hit a button for "Watch TiVo" and it turns on everything and flips it all to the correct inputs and channels and I"m golden. I hit "Watch DVD" and it turns everything to the right inputs and channels and turns on my DVD player. It knows when to use the TV for volume and when to use the A/V receiver for volume control. Its like a little genie in a remote control.
I don't know how my 4 month old did it, but she really pulled it off.

I hate you!!!!!! I want one so bad. I have been looking at all kinds of home theater stuff for when I get to Greenville. I cant wait to finish off the rest of my basement.

the harmony, huh? Can you point it at unruly friends/family members and hit the "calm down" button?
Unfortunately it only harmonizes your electronic equipment.

I cant afford a $150 remote control. I just nixed my cable and am now watching all tv off the internet... comes with free Tivo too. -Clayton
